Looking for a way to temporarily strap down a load or create a tie-off point? The SeaSucker 152 mm White Vacuum Mount with Stainless Steel D-Ring is ideal for this. They are incredibly strong (pull rated up to 90 kg) and will attach to many non-skid or textured surfaces. Furthermore, all metal parts are from marine-grade stainless steel, including the pump spring, for extra durability in the saltwater environment

Why choose the Stainless Steel D-Ring over the Pointed Stainless Steel Handle?

The benefit of the 6.4 mm Pointed Stainless Steel Handle compared to the 6.4 mm Stainless Steel D-Ring on our other products is that the Pointed Handle keeps your straps centred on the handle. This reduces any lateral play on your straps. Conversely, the Stainless Steel D-Ring allows lateral rope movement during use. In the end, it comes down to which handle best suits your anchor point application.  

The SeaSucker Vacuum Mount Housing

Below is a detailed overview of the Standard Vacuum Mount Housing used on the 114 mm and 152 mm SeaSucker Vacuum Mounts. There are two methods of attachment available. You can use the 1/4-20 stainless steel centre thread in the housing to attach most devices. Alternatively, the most secure method is to use the two slots on either side of the 1/4-20" stainless steel centre thread. The slots will accept 1/4" or M6 Bolts and Nuts.

Please Note: You do not have to remove the handle in order to utilise the centre thread or the two slots on either side.vacuum-mount-housing.jpg

 

The housing is compatible with RAM Products using the RAM-B-202AU 1" Ball Base with 1/4-20 Centre thread or the RAM-202AU 1.5" Ball Base with 1/4-20 Centre thread. Alternatively, you can use the housing's 1/4-20" stainless steel centre thread to attach to most devices. Otherwise, the most secure method is to use the two slots on either side of the 1/4-20" stainless steel centre thread. The slots will accept 1/4" or M6 Bolts and Nuts

If your product fails due to a manufacturing or workmanship defect our first option will be to repair the item, free of charge. If the product is not repairable, or if the cost of repairing the item exceeds the cost of a new one, we will replace it. If the item has failed due to a manufacturing defect, we will pay the return shipping charges.
